Call of Interest - Tour operators in Strumica and Gevgelija

The Foundation for SME Development (Regional Enterprises Support Centre Bitola) launches a Call of Interest for Tour Operators representatives from EU and Balkan area to express their interest to participate in a targeted event organized in the FYR of Macedonia during April 2013 within the NTheSSIS Project, a co-funded project by the European Union and by National funds of the participating countries under the IPA Cross-border programme “Greece – The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia 2007-2013”.
  
This targeted event includes participation on the presentation of the project deliverables held in Bitola in April 2013, a guided visit to the Thermal Spring sources of Bansko (Municipality of Strumica) and Negorci (Municipality of Gevgelija). Further details and the actual agenda of the event will be provided to the chosen participants.
  
Representatives of Tour Operators as well as other touristic agencies, should contact with the Foundation for SME Development in order to express their interest and receive further information, until 31st of March 2013.

Launch of a call of Interest



Call for expression of Interest


Thermal Springs Sources Association launches a Call of Interest for Tour Operators representatives from EU and Balkan area to express their interest to participate in a targeted event organized in Greece during April 2013 during the implementation of the NTheSSIS Project, a co-funded project by the European Union and by National funds of the participating countries under the IPA Cross-border programme “Greece – The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia 2007-2013”. 


This targeted event includes the participation in the NTheSSIS International Conference held in Thessaloniki in April 2013, a guided visit in the Thermal Spring sources of Aggistro (Serres prefecture) and Lagkadas (Thessaloniki prefecture), meetings with Greek officials of the Local and central Government. Further details and the actual schedule of the event will be provided to the chosen participants. 

Representatives of Tour Operators as well as other touristic agencies, should contact with Thermal Springs Sources Association (Att. NTheSSIS Project – 1st WorkShop



The 1st WorkShop of the project, under the title “Total Quality services in Local Government ” took place in Car Samuil Hotel in Bansko, Strumica, from 14th to 16th of December of 2012.



During the event, after the introductory speeches from Dragan DamjanovskiGeorge SiakasMirjana Cvetkovska and representatives of the Municipality of Strumica, interventions regarding Total Quality Services in the Public sector were presented by Mr. Antonis Saoulidis, President of the Municipal Council of Neapolis-Sykies and interventions regarding Impact of the Local self-government and the thermal spring sources  tourism over the local economic and social development” and “Theory and practice of the thermal spring sources tourism” were presented by Ph.D. Naume Marinoski of the Faculty for tourism and hospitality in University of Ohrid.

The Q & A session, followed the interventions, revealed a very interesting aspect of the Thermal Springs Sources further exploitation, that will be a part of the future development of the NTheSSIS Project.

1st Steering Committee Session - Kick-off Meeting

The Kick-off Meeting of the NTheSSIS Project, an Interreg IVa OP "Greece- The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, 2007-2013" funded project, took place on Monday, 5th of November in Thessaloniki at the premises of the Thermal Spring Sources Association. Partners discussed the timetable of the actions, the overall achievements so far, the promotion and dissemination activities and the Roadmap-until December 2012.
